Kyvvu client instructions¶
This project requires kyvvu>=1.0.0,<2.0.0. Match contracts to the
packages installed in the environment where the agent runs.
- Start with
kyvvu docsfor each installed package's versioned documentation. The earliest supported Python client's agent index is https://docs.kyvvu.com/v/kyvvu/1.0.0/llms.txt. - Use the index's Markdown pages, manifest schema and OpenAPI links. Follow the installed version's reference when package versions differ.
- Run
kyvvu explain <rule_type>for a rule's description, parameter schema and example. Runkyvvu explain PolicyLoadErrorfor its exception contract. - Validate manifest changes with
kyvvu schema manifest --validate policies.yaml. Then exercise the intended allowed and blocked paths withkyvvu try --helpand the documented replay format. An editor-schema pass alone is insufficient. - Keep governed steps inside
kv.start_task()andkv.end_task(); the end flushes the task. In a new request or thread, select it withkv.resume_task(task_id). - Choose the policy source deliberately. Platform policies require
api_url,api_keyandagent_key; offline trials use a policy file. Never infer that zero loaded policies means enforcement succeeded. - Keep credentials out of source, prompts, traces and committed files. Use
.env.examplefor variable names and keep the actual.envprivate.
